I began my food journey in 2010 to try and find a holistic way to relieve the Symptoms of my RA. I was Diagnosed in 2003 and suffered for 7 years, almost becoming bedridden, until I discovered how food could change my life and adopted the Paleo Diet. By eating foods that boosted nutrition and eliminated any artificial ingredients I was able to heal my gut. I still have RA but the symptoms I experienced then are long gone and I have been able to return to an active and productive life again.
I have spent the last 10 years of my life dedicated to bringing food and joy back into the lives of others with dietary restrictions due
to illness or allergies and to those who just want to live healthier life. The cookbook I have written “A Few of Our Favorite Things” is a collection of just a few of my family’s favorite recipes which I have converted in order to meet my dietary restrictions. I hope you all enjoy them as much as my family and I do.
